When we say "Takeoff", "we", "us", or "our", we mean the operator of this service. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you, the subscriber.

2. What Takeoff Is

Takeoff is a flight deal discovery service. We monitor flight prices and alert you when we find exceptional deals to surf destinations.

Filter deals to surf destinations during optimal seasons
Send curated deals to your inbox via email

What We Do Not Do

Book flights for you
Guarantee deal availability or pricing
Act as a travel agent or airline
Provide travel advice or recommendations

Important: About Flight Deals

Flight deals are time-sensitive. By using Takeoff, you understand that:

Prices change constantly. The price we report is what we found at discovery. It may change by the time you click.
Deals may disappear quickly. Mistake fares can be corrected within minutes. Airlines may limit inventory.
We cannot guarantee anything. Availability, pricing, and booking success are outside our control.
You book directly with airlines or booking sites. Any contract you enter is between you and them, not us. We are not responsible for your bookings.
Verify before booking. Check dates, airports, baggage, visa requirements, and all terms before you book.

We provide information only. We do not endorse or recommend any airline, booking site, or travel provider.

3. Our Contract With You

A contract between you and us is formed when:

You complete the signup process on our website, or
You upgrade to a paid membership

By signing up, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old
You have provided accurate information
You agree to these terms

4. Free and Premium Tiers

Free Tier

Flight deal emails (deals with 40-59% discounts)
Deals matched to your country of origin
No payment required

Premium Tier (EUR 99/year or EUR 149 lifetime)

All Free tier features, plus:
Premium Deals (60-90% discounts)
Deals matched to your specific airports
Mistake fare alerts

5. Price and Payment

Prices are displayed on the website in Euros (EUR)
Payments are processed securely by Stripe
We accept major credit and debit cards
You agree to provide accurate payment information and keep it up to date

We reserve the right to change prices. Any price changes will be communicated before your next renewal.

6. Auto-Renewal

Annual Subscriptions

Annual Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each year
You will be charged the renewal price shown in your account settings
We will notify you before renewal

How to Cancel Auto-Renewal

Cancel anytime from your account settings or the Stripe customer portal
Cancel at least 3 days before your renewal date to avoid being charged
After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period

Lifetime Subscriptions

Lifetime subscriptions are one-time payments and do not renew

7. Refunds and Cancellation

14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your Premium subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Contact us at [email protected].

This 14-day period applies to:

New Premium subscriptions
First-time upgrades from Free to Premium

After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, except as required by law or described below.

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by subscribing and accessing our service immediately, you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided, or once digital content delivery has begun with your consent.

Refunds for Service Failures

If we suspend or discontinue our service for more than 30 consecutive days, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

How to Cancel

Delete account: Account settings, or email us

Unsubscribing from emails does not cancel your subscription or delete your account.

8. Your Responsibilities

By using Takeoff, you agree to:

Provide accurate information during signup
Keep your email address current (we send deals and account notifications there)
Keep your account secure
Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Not share your Premium account with others

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Share, redistribute, or resell our deal content
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our service
Attempt to reverse-engineer our deal-finding methods
Overload or interfere with our systems
Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these rules may result in termination of your account without refund.

10. Our Liability

What We Are Responsible For

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious or if both parties knew it might happen when the contract was made.

What We Are Not Responsible For

We are not responsible for:

Indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, business, or anticipated savings)
Third-party services (airlines, booking sites, travel providers)
Deal accuracy (prices, availability, booking success)
Your travel arrangements (missed flights, cancellations, visa issues)
Email delivery issues caused by your email provider

We Do Not Exclude

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

11. Changes and Termination

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. For paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice and pro-rata refunds where appropriate.

Our Right to Terminate

We may terminate your account if you:

Violate these terms
Fail to pay when due
Abuse the service

Your Right to Terminate

You may cancel your subscription at any time (see Section 7).

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of France.

If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may submit it to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

You also retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

13. Other Terms

Entire agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
Severability: If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
Assignment: We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organization (e.g., in case of acquisition). You may not transfer your account without our consent.
